Mental Health Law
Kate undertook a LLM focused on Mental Health and Human Rights law and accepts instructions relating to all applications under The Mental Health Act.
She represents both restricted and non-restricted patients at Mental Health Review Tribunals in England and Wales and represents Local Authorities and private clients in matters in the County Court.
Kate provides in house seminars to local authorities and solicitors firms with regards to Mental Health law

Kate accepts instructions relating to issues of welfare and finances for those who lack capacity.
Kate is an experienced family practitioner and accepts instructions in all aspects of family law including private and public Children Applications acting for parents , children and local authorities; ancillary relief claims; cohabitation disputes
Kate has been a barrister in Chester since 2005 having undertaken her pupillage in Sedan House Chambers.
